At first I also didn’t know how to set it up, but over time I started to picture it more clearly and experimented my way to some really solid scenarios for daily operation.
Setting up Automation on Apple Home
Turn on/off bathroom and kitchen lights
Turn on lights
- Triggers: Motion detected in the bathroom / Bathroom door closed
- Conditions: Time between 6 p.m. and 4 a.m.
- Actions: Turn on the bathroom light
Turn off lights
- Triggers: No motion in the bathroom
- Conditions: Bathroom door open
- Actions: Turn off the bathroom light
Add more complex conditions with the EVE App
When the room is too cold, automatically turn off the AC

Setting up Automation on iOS Shortcuts
Open the garage door when you are near home
- Triggers:

Automatically turn off all devices when the TV is turned off, stop working out
This scenario is applied for cases where, by habit, you will turn off all devices after use.
